Protection & file size

AES-256-GCM with a unique key derived from your password. Each block is authenticated; incomplete or modified files are rejected. This independent .nysf format does not open in VeraCrypt.

Large files use direct-to-disk saving when supported. Otherwise a conservative memory budget applies. The limit is a precaution, not a measurement of available RAM. For larger files, open this page in a desktop browser with direct-save support.

Keep this tab open during processing. This web tool has not undergone an independent security audit. File size is visible in the encrypted format; content and the embedded filename are encrypted.
